Terms and Conditions
1. In these conditions the 'Organiser' shall mean Wedding World (SW) Ltd. and the 'Exhibitor` shall mean the person, firm, organisation or company booking a stand at the event, and the 'Event' shall mean the Wedding Exhibition.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse an application for a stand at the Event at his absolute discretion.
3. The Organiser reserves the right to alter stand numbers or to relocate the Exhibitor to an area of similar size before the commencement of the event if in the opinion of the Organiser such changes are in the best interests of the Event in general.
4. The Exhibitor must pay either the non-refundable deposit as specified on the booking form or the full amount for the stand space. The balance (if applicable) must be paid prior to the commencement of the Event by the due date on the balance invoice or the stand will be forfeited with the loss of the deposit.
5. On receipt of payments the Organiser will send the Exhibitor an acknowledgement and confirmation invoice if applicable.
6. If the Exhibitor decides to cancel their space at the Event after the due date on the balance invoice then no refunds will be made.
7. The Exhibitor undertakes to use the reserved space at the Event for exhibiting only their own products as they have specified on the completed booking form. The Exhibitor may not sub-let or assign any of the space allocated except with the written consent of the Organiser on such terms as the Organiser may stipulate. Promotion of any other wedding fairs or business interests is also prohibited without the Organiser's permission.
8. The Organiser reserves the right to restrict the display, demonstration or use of mechanical, electrical or other equipment, (including loudspeakers, microphones, amplifiers, musical instruments etc) which the Organiser considers to be a nuisance to the other Exhibitors. Any selling or giving away goods, samples or advertising material must be in compliance with all statutory regulations and have the permission of the Organiser.
9. The Exhibitor shall keep their space and exhibits attended by adequate staff during all hours that the Event is open to the public.
10. No exhibits or goods must be removed from the Event before the closure of the Event to the public. All exhibits or goods must be removed from the Event area by 6pm on the day of the Event. Failing which the Organiser shall be entitled to remove them and the cost incurred by the Organiser in so doing will be recovered from the Exhibitor.
11. The Organiser will make every effort to attract a suitable and sufficient audience to the Event in accordance with their advertising scheduled for the Event.
12. The Exhibitor shall in every respect comply with all the relevant legislation, regulations and byelaws issued by the Local Authority Health & Safety Executive and all the requirements of the Fire Authority the Police and owners of the venue.
13. The Exhibitor shall indemnify the Organiser against :- i. All liabilities to other persons (including the servants, agents or invitees of the Exhibitor for death, bodily injury damage to property or other loss or damage of whatever nature which may arise out of or in consequence of the presence the Exhibitor at the Event or anything brought into the event by the Exhibitor, his servants, agents or invitees). ii. All costs, charges and expenses borne by the Organiser in dealing with the claims of such persons whether successful or not. iii. All loss of or damage to the Organisers property caused by the Exhibitor, his servants, agents or invitees.
14. The Exhibitor should maintain in force throughout the Event, insurance against his liability to third parties and shall if required provide the Organiser with proof of such insurance.
15. The Organiser shall not be liable to the Exhibitor for: - i. Any loss of or damage to any property of the Exhibitor or for which the Exhibitor is responsible however so occurring. ii. Any injury, claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs, losses or expenses suffered or incurred by the Exhibitor arising out of or in consequence of the supply of space or other facilities provided to the Exhibitor. (save only in respect of death or personal injury arising from the negligence of the Organiser). iii. Any loss, expense, cost, damage, or liability suffered or incurred by the Exhibitor by reason of any relocation, postponement, cancellation or abandonment of the Event. iv. Any loss of profits or goodwill or any indirect or consequential loss suffered by the Exhibitor. v. Any loss or damage to dresses outfits or items displayed in the fashion show.
16. In the event of any breach of these conditions or any Event rules and regulations by the Exhibitor or his servants or agents ,which in the opinion of the Organiser is detrimental to the Event, the Organiser shall have the absolute right to expel such an Exhibitor and his servants or agents from the Event. Such expulsion will not release the Exhibitor from his obligations under these conditions and no refunds of any monies paid will be made.
17. The Organiser shall have the right to relocate the Event within a reasonable distance of the originally planned location and such relocation shall in no way invalidate the booking or give rise to any liability to the Exhibitor.
18. The Organiser shall have the right to postpone or cancel the Event for any reason before its commencement in which case a refund will be made to the Exhibitor of the amount paid to the Organiser for space at the Event. The Organiser shall also have the right to declare the Event abandoned at any time after its commencement for any reason which in the opinion of the Organiser would render it undesirable to continue, in which situation no such refund will be made.
